A school under a motorway

This unique project is the first school building ever to be built under a motorway, the technical challenges were considerable and involved forming an independent, acoustically separated structure below the concrete framed Westway, next to the Hammersmith and City tube line and behind a new facade provided by the landlord.  The building contains Notting Hill Prep School’s dining hall, kitchen, music department, art department, administration and gym.
